Meet Our Team
Dr. Jennifer Trachtman
Veterinarian
Dr. Jen Trachtman could be seen trying to rescue worms after rainstorms as a seven-year-old in Rochester, New York and continues to be passionate about the well-being of animals. Always planning to become a veterinarian, but wanting to see some of the world first, she studied anthropology in Australia and worked in England. She received her veterinary degree from Tufts University (now the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine) in 2000. After completing an intensive internship in emergency medicine, she has practiced locally in general practice ever since. Becoming a veterinarian has allowed her to advocate for animals while enhancing their bond with their families. While being dedicated to treating animals as whole individuals, she has become particularly interested in internal medicine, pain management, physical therapy, Fear-free care and client education. Dr. Trachtman is Fear-free certified.
As a result of Dr. Trachtman’s enduring commitment to patient care, she began Bayside Mobile Veterinary Care in 2011. Bayside Mobile Veterinary Care eventually grew into Bayside Veterinary Care – a patient-oriented practice that provides comprehensive, fear-free care in the hospital or in pets’ homes.
When she is not with her veterinary family, Dr. Trachtman enjoys spending time near, on and in the water with her two wonderful children and five pets in Warren, Rhode Island.
"Dr. Jen is the most compassionate vet I have ever met!"

Dr. Courtney Perry
Veterinarian
Dr. Perry comes to us with a wealth of small and large animal science knowledge. After graduating from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021, she has worked in busy private practice settings, honing her surgical, medical, and ultrasound skills. Her favorite part of providing care is getting a feel for what each specific pet in each specific family needs and tailoring her approach accordingly. She finds it extremely rewarding to be able to follow a pet through all the stages of life, to partner with families to deliver care, and to strengthen the human-animal bond in each family.
When she is not working with Bayside pets, she is at home with her silly Bernese Mountain Dog, Tatanka, and her long-haired orange cat, Daphne. Dr. Perry enjoys exploring the local shops and cafes with her husband, reading, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends.

Dr. Tambaschi is Fear-Free certified, and her clinical interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and preventative medicine. After several years of caring for patients as a relief veterinarian, Dr. Tambaschi is happy to join us full-time.
